Discover how to get more done - be efficient, set your goals and achieve them. Isn't it a dream for many people? And what have we got? Plenty of time robbers. A lack of concentration. Actions without planning. Or even worse - planning without actions. Do you feel guilty because you have wasted your day or your goal setting activity is weak? Things pile up because your time management system doesn't work. Who is to blame for that? Is it you? Partly. But don't be too strict on yourself. It's just your time management that failed. The good news is that you can change it quite easily.
Time management is a highly desirable skill and knowledge especially useful for organizing complicated social and business structures. It shows how to use tools and ideas that could improve our efficiency in using time. Think about time management in college, for example - how much good it could do for students? We cannot control and accumulate time but we can make adjustments based on a given moment.

You should recognize the meaning of every moment. We could learn new things by knowing the importance of little changes that could affect the larger phenomena. Do you know what is most important in your schedule? Start improving your life with a few simple steps.

At the beginning you should:
• start doing things now rather than the hour before the deadline
• concentrate on doing only one task at a time
• think of goals and aims as necessary achievements
• think of the time limits in achieving goals
• know your work style
• know your environment or workplace
• make plans (smart goal setting!)
• be realistic and expect changes
•... and always remember to keep things simple!
Here's one of the most powerful techniques that you can use to manage your time efficiently - the Numbered Priority Tactic.
• Buy yourself a notebook and start planning. It should be small enough to carry it with you all the time, anywhere you go. On the front page of the notebook, put the title: Important and Urgent. On the back page, put the title: Important / Not Urgent.
• If an idea or event you encounter is Urgent but Not Important, then forget it. If you think it's significant in some way, then you may put it under Important and Urgent. Ignore Not Important / Not Urgent tasks.
It will help you to learn about goal setting theory and become a highly effective person. The bottom line is: work smarter, not harder. You'll learn to never underestimate some crucial points, like goal setting - a vital skill for deciding what you want to achieve in your life. The earlier you apply the tips on time management, the more time you'll have in your life.

  1. There is something magical about creating a to-do list will help us to know and remember everything that needs to get done. Almost everyone struggles with effectively managing their time.

Another technique of using time tracking software will also help us to get more done in less time. With that application, we can track the time spent on various projects and also allows us to bill our clients accurately.

I'm always looking for ways to increase my productivity and better manage my time. I've recently began using a time recording software from Replicon, http://goo.gl/yGF1mm. I've found that it helps to keep my on track throughout the day.
